What else do i need? I want to play in church…?

I play acoustic and will start playing electric…there is difference in playing these instruments../i am going to learn electric so i can play in church…i already have a guitar, an amp, even a distortion pedal (bought it for fun…while experimenting..) What else do you think i need??? /In some blogs i saw something like a pod or xtl..i have no idea what it is (that blog teaches electric guitar, and it mentions the pod and xtl)

Each church is a bit different. Talk to the pastor, or the person who is in charge or the music. They’ll let you know what’s needed for your church. When I was young your acoustic guitar would’ve been plenty, and today it may still be enough to get involved. But from what I understand almost anything goes. You’ve just got to get it by your local church people.
