Guitar Pedal Upgrade Kit
Advice on equipment hire, please. Amps, Guitars, Drums…..?
Need some advice on the likely costs of hiring good instrumental equipment to record an album. In British £ pounds please.
How much to hire these items for per day.
Here goes:
*Marshall DFX 412 solid state amp
*Behringer bass head & cab (not sure wot kind, but it’s LOUD!)
*Gretsch drum kit – five piece with symbols.
*Fender Precision bass guitar (with upgraded pick-up)
*Gibson SG (1979 model)
*Boss TU 2 tuning pedal
*Boss ODB bass overdrive pedal
*Marshall Guvnor overdrive pedal
*Shure vocal mic (a good one!)
Only sensible answers, please. This is important for a project I’m working on.

I can give you an approximate value of these items as hire companies tend to group items together, regardless of models and makes..(unless they are rare, vintage or specifically hi spec.)
For example. A drum kit…£100 per day..Gibson SG…£40 (vintage £60-80 per day) Guitar Amp £40 per day. Pedals £10-15 per day. Bass head £40 and cab £40 per day. Fender Bass guitar £40 per day. Shure Mic £20 per day. I’ll leave you to do the maths but this is a reasonably good guide to prices overall .
