Guitar Pedal Tech

what kind of guitar is good for me?
hello all,
I have been playing guitar for 2 years and i have played a Silvertone Revolver (horrible guitar) and my baby which is a Fender Showmaster RR with a floyd rose. Recently i have been having trouble with it. i like to play stuff in drop c (job for a cowboy, system of a down, as i lay dying, ect) and every time i tune it or have someone to tune it for me the floyd rose(floating bridge) drops and i have to reset all my springs in it nd its to much of a hassal. so i come to ask you guys what kind of guitar I should get. I have a limited budget (like $500) and i play on a line 6 III 75w amp. i also have a digi tech grunge and death metal pedal. im in a small garage band with 2 friends from school. any awnsers are appricated. btw i cannot change out the bridge because its a vintage guitar and dont wannna change anything.
well my suggestion to this problem, if you like your fender, would be to get it set up at guitar center or something they will set it up professionally to whatever tunning you want and you will never have problems with it again guarenteed and its 60$ to get a FR set up.
and otherwise id suggest going into GC and looking around playing some guitars in there, thats the best way to find one for you if for you to go play them. its hard for someone to just be able to tell you which one if for you.

You could just replace the locking tremolo with a straight tremolo instead of changing guitars. I had a similar problem with my old BC Rich Warlock.
