Guitar Pedal Simulator
Need help with guitar settings?
I have an electric guitar and for my graduation for my school i have to play ‘Time of Your Life’ By Green Day, (this song is played on an acoustic guitar) i have an ‘acoustic simulator’ pedal. Does anyone know what settings would give me that tone? P.S. (its a ‘Boss AC-3 Acoustic Simulator Pedal’)
If your looking to get that “sittin in your lap acoustic sound” with a simulator…..it not going to happen!

how do i set up a boss ac-3 acoustic simulator pedal?
i understand how to set up pedals but i get confused wen i see the 2 outputs. one says line out and the other says g.amp out. i dont own this pedal but am very intrested in buying it. what output do i put the cord into to plug into my electric guitar amp?

The amp out is sort of a direct bypass – feeding the regular guitar signal to your electric guitar amp or other electric guitar effects or effects units.
The line out is designed to feed the signal to a dedicated amp for acoustic guitars or direct to a PA mixer.
This is a good idea, since acoustic tones/guitars don’t sound very acoustic at all through the more limited frequency range and tonal characteristics of a guitar amplifier.
The only drag here in my opinion is that you don’t have the option to do both – feed both the line out and the amp out – at the same time.
