Guitar Pedal Kids
getting a new guitar amp?
i play alternative all the way to a couple metal songs and i have a fender strat with seymour Duncan’s ( jb, ’59) in it (just felt like i would get that out of the way early) and i just moved to a town where there are people that actually play instruments instead of a town full of white kids trying to be rappers so i might be joining a band soon but i need a new amp for playing with a band right now all i have is a REALLY sh*tty 15 watt amp i don’t want any modeling amps (ex. line 6 spider III, peavey vypyr ect.) since all i use is a delay pedal, chromatic tuner, and a WA pedal the amp needs to sound good on clean and distorted and has to have a footswitch my budget is $500 and i have no room for a half stack
so what would be a good amp to get
You might be able to pick up a used Fender, Twin, DeLux or DeVille for around that price. (E-bay or Craigslist)

Guitar….. Help and Info

My passion is Guitar…… and Im not a PRO! All pros are noobs at one time right? So…. Im not all updated on all those Amps and Effects pedals…. ok I know what is Vox Wah and Distortion and that stuff but i dno what is all that technical stuff… oh dude i got like a 302145 super extra deluxe.. and id be like….. ok….. wtf is that? I need help on where I can get updated and learn more abt these things….. And I wanna know how I can get to play gigs for money or even for free…. and how to get big…. Yes I do practice allot…. Its my fav thing to do… So someone help me… I wanna get big….. Whenever I see those older kids im my school….. they pick like crazy fast and they shred and they have sick amps………………. Im not so rich so i cnt really afford that stuff… :/ thats why im looking for a job even tho im 14… 
Well there dude, ya got a good attitude. Guitar effects are just frosting ultimatly. You could get a cheap fx box, but most of them sound kinda fizzy. It’s really better to get a good tone with just you’re hands and the guitar; and amp. I’ve found the best amps are simple, like a Fender Bassman. You can get -’MRW’- copies of these cheap/ If by ‘shredding’, you mean learning rolling scales and arpeggios thats ok. Speed for speed sake’s got it’s limit’s. I think rhythm playing and songs should be the main musical goals. As John Lee Hooker said ‘just concentrate on the funky beat’./ It’s good to work and play music. You may need to do that your whole life anyway. You’ll need enough food to stay strong. 14 is a great age to start guitar seriously. Try to find your own unique musical gifts. Learn original creativity and quality practicing. If you’re persistent and dedicated; you’ll achieve success. /Do P.R. It’s best to get experience playing with other people. Learn to read music, write songs and sing if possible. You could do studio work (volunteer even); specialize in a style/genre, or maybe playing in open tunings, there’s many music-related trades. I’d mostly advise to publish your own music, stay mentally and physically healthy(!), finish school, and have fun playing.
