Guitar Pedal Alignment
What pedals or amp setting should I set up for a Mark Tremonti sound?
I just bought a PRS SE singlecut 25th Anniversary and it sounds great! but i want a sound closer to Alter Bridge’s/Creed’s Mark Tremonti, What alignment of pedals or setting on my Frontman 25R amp can i set up to achieve a more similar sound?>? I know Mark Uses both amps and rectifiers and other set ups in his guitar rig but as a fan of his im trying to get a similar sound, with what i have.
My “rig” available to me is:
Fake Gibson Ripoff guitar
ESP LTD-300
PRS SE 25th Anniversary Royal Blue w/ tremolo
Digitech 250 Multi-Effect Pedal w/ whaa
Digitech 150 Multi-Effect Pedal
Fender Frontman 25R AMP
Hello there,
Not sure how you are going to get it from an FM25r. Here is some info on his gear rig. Maybe you can get an idea there.

Guitar chain pedal alignment?
Hi. I’ve got a Metalzone distortion pedal, an Overdrive pedal, a Digital delay pedal a Compression Sustainer pedal and a Tube Amo Modeler. Wich one should go first (from right to left).
Compressors drastically increase the noise of anything in front of them, so they should normally be put first after the guitar. Distortions likewise. Generally you arrange distortions and overdrives from lowest to highest gain; that way you can switch on more than one and increase saturation without your distortion becoming a mess. So I’d put the overdrive before the metal zone. Delays should always be the last thing in the chain. I’m no sure what you mean about the modeler (whether it’s an effect or your amp or what) but it should probably be between the Metal Zone and the delay. However, it’s all very subjective. Try it different ways and see what you like!
