Pedal that sounds like a Peavey 5150/6505?
I was at Guitar Center earlier, and I found the 6505+. I loved the sound, but it’s hard to justify spending $600 on one when my band hasn’t had a gig yet.
So, my question is: Is there some kind of foot pedal or less expensive alternative to get that great Peavey 6505/5150 distortion sound?
There really isn’t a pedal that sounds like a peavey, but you can try getting a guitar processor. Podxt’s have amp models made to sound like peaveys and other amps, engl, mesa, etc.
