Fender Squire Strat or Epiphone SG? help me choose, please!?

fender comes with:
- 2006 electric frender squire strat (w/ whammy bar)
- fender frontman amp (w/ cords)
- digital tuner
- gig bag
= ALL for $130
OR
epiphone comes with:
- 2002 epiphone SG (blk/red)
- peavey amp, transtube series rage 158 (w/ cords)
- zoom 606 effects pedal
- gig bag
= ALL for $175

which one is the better deal? which one if the better guitar? better sound quality? is the whammy bar that important? i have been playing a fender acoustic for about 5 years, so which one would be best for me? i play songs by rhcp, weezer, and the eagles. i want a guitar with a bluezy sound, but i dont really want a squire cuz its a knockoff of the strat. and the SG is good for hard rock songs and i play some hard rock too. so, which one should i get? start off with the squire starter or no?

ohyeahh, im getting one of them today, so i need a lot of advice, so i can choose the right one!

Both are rip-offs of the originals–the Fender Stratocaster (get an American-made one only), and the Gibson SG.

If the money is an issue and you have to go with one of these cheapies, I’d play both extensively in the store and go with which one feels right to you.
