Beginner in recording?
I am just a beginning recording artist but i need software that is not technical like the stuff that came with my MIDI interface.
My question is what is the best recording software that has a good onboard drum machine, guitar effects, and an easy way to do that all?

u can buy the adobe photoshop or if u have a mac then u can use the iLife or iWork softwares for recording. these softwares are for both ametuers and professionals.u can also use the software which comes with most of the nokia phones [i don't remember it's name] of the N series.

I need to record my guitar onto a laptop, add in a drum, and write it onto a CD. What laptop would be best?
I want to be able to record a guitar and a base onto a laptop, add a drum machine, and be able to mess with the songs. I’ll need software that can rearrange parts of a song, add effects, that kind of thing. Then I’ll need to burn them onto a CD so I can show off. =)
