What is this guitar effect in this solo?

Skip ahead to about 2:40 for the solo. This is the only time Kurt Cobain played it this way and whatever pedals he’s got going sound amazing. Any idea what would make that sound?

I would’ve said reverb but you can hear the repeats too clearly. You’re looking at delay to get that effect. Set a medium feedback, 400+ delay time and a high level and you’ll get it.


Clean Guitar Tone?

How can I get a watery-type clean guitar tone out of a small Peavey: Blazer 158 practice amp? The type of tone I want is something like Nirvana songs, you know, what Kurt Cobain did in some of his prechoruses and bridges. I might need effects pedals or some type of tone enhancer or whatever. My amp has reverb, lead gain, and a couple other nobs. Any help would be appreciated.

Take it in to a guitar center and ask the pros there.
