Guitar Effects Casing
I want to spray my guitar case?
I know how to spray paint but has anyone else tried on a guitar case?
I don’t know if it will stick on the texture, or if it will ruin it, effect my guitar etc; Any tips/ instructions would be nice ^^!
Its a fender acoustic case..
Its the fabric type with a leather pattern-type thing. I can’t get any more specific than that because I picked it up at a yard sale today and I am really not sure…
Use acrylic spray paint, sold as car paint. Stencils look very cool! Take your guitar out and leave it well away from the case until it’s totally dry – the paint will not come off if you get it on anything you shouldn’t!
Practice first until you’re good at it – spraying takes some practice. Big bin liners taped to the floor are good for practice. Spray a little less than you think, very thin coats, otherwise it will chip off easily. Ideally, practice on something else textured so you get the hang of how it comes out – it will work, but it’s really important to spray very thinly otherwise it will bleed off the ridges and out of the “valleys” of the textured surface.
Don’t paint the inside of the case as it will chip off onto the guitar.

For Christmas is it better to ?
buy a Korg M3-88, a Yamaha YTS-82Z (professional saxophone), or a nice guitar effects rig? The M3 with the accessories it needs such as sustain pedal, EXB-Radias, stand, case, it’s around 3200 est. The Yamaha is 3300, and a nie guitar rig is around 1000 for everything I want.
Save yourself some money and go with the cheaper option.
