guitar effects help?
wel
ive been playing for about a year and a half
and now i can play most of the songs
but i only use my Line 6 spider amp
without any effects
but i heard that if you use an effecter(s) it makes the sound go wilder than just “amp-only”s
so my question is..
what kinds of effects are there?
what do each of them they do?
also,,,,in case if someone knows…how do i sounds like Oli Herbert from “All that Remains?”
especially in the song “I die in degree”
that slow tempoed duet sounds like magic,..ah…..

Any cases of arthritis playing guitar hero for 10 yr old. She cant write or use hands now! Anyone else?
After playing guitar hero 3 a few days child hands turned black and blue from finger tips to the wrist. She was at school when we go the call she is injured. The doctors are telling us that she has over used her hands and lab tests concludes that my 10 year old now has rhumetoid arthritis. She is unable to write, play sports or even the true test…not able to play video games now! Just currious if anyone else has had similar side effects from these guitar games? Don’t get me wrong…I love to play them my self. I never thought they could have injured anyone…maybe a guitar in the jaw trying to use the power ups, but crippling arthritis?
Chances are she already had this and playing guitar hero only triggered the inevitable. I would get a second opinion and do some research. Here’s a website that can help:
