i think they use delay effects
good delay pedal suggestion?
i have a strat with hot rails and a grunge dist. pedal and a bad horsie contour 2 wah pedal and some old peavy combo amp
i wanna sound like that!
when i play stuff above the twelfth fret on the high e string it usually gets all muddy
i think its the amps fault
the amps pretty old
but ya
how do they get that tone and killer sustain???
Use a compressor / sustainer pedal in front of the wah.

I always wondered what guitar effect Trent Reznor used for his guitar solo from the song “Ruiner”. I know he uses some distortion but the tone also sounds like the sustain is cut off or something. Is it some sort of compression?
