How can I get real time distortion/effects with VST software?
How do you use your computer as an amp and effects rack? I know you can do it in garageband on mac, but I want the same thing for pc. I want to be able to plug my guitar into my computer and have live sound come out of my speakers, but I want to be able to effect the sound with VST effects and amp models. Any help appreciated
You can use something free like Cantabile Lite, or a demo version that doesn’t expire like Reaper.
Just load the effects you want to use on a channel that has the input of your guitar.
