Can I play Distortion guitar on a Semi-Acoustic guitar ?

Can i play distortion , metal-ish guitar on a semi-acoustic ? like using pedals or smthng ? or even sum kinda free software ?

Yes you can. The only issue here is that you have to look out for potential unwanted feedback as a semi-acoustic is a little more prone to feedback on higher volume and distortion due to the acoustic properties of these guitars.

That said, a semi-acoustic guitar is probably not your best bet for a purely metal kind of guitar playing.

Whats a good guitar recording software?

i use a distortion pedal and when i record it comes out fuzzy when more than one string is played does anyone know a software that records with distortion and will have great quality or one that can add distortion ive tried audacity already and wavepad and if possible a free software

Hi, how do you record your guitar? Using a Mic or through Line-in? I think the problem is not the software. Try lowering the gain in distortion. High boost might give you unwanted noise. Go through some home recording tips for better quality.
