How many of you people notice this trend about Led Zeppelin (plz read the details of the question)?

I feel certain Led Zeppelin songs sound EXTREMELY similar to each other. For eg: Tangerine, Going to California, Thank you sound very similar to each other.

When the Levee Breaks, Kashmir and Friends sound very similar to each other because of the eastern (Arabic) touches to them.

And then, they have certain blues songs that sound very similar to one another, as well as some country and folk.

Maybe thats the beauty of Led Zeppelin: besides being one of the real hard rock bands, they had amazing and distinctive blues, country, folk, reggae, Arabic songs in abundance as well. Every song of theirs is a masterpiece. The way they inspired the best of bands, inspired a whole generation of people, explored almost every genre and style of music truly makes them the gods of rock, and the best band to ever exist.

When the Levee Breaks.. awesome song.
I don’t think they sound overly similar to one another.. they have some elements that are the same in songs, sure, but a lot of bands do.
I agree with you that all of their songs are masterpieces though.
Haha, and i agree with the first answer.. AC/DC take the title for the song similarity contest.
