Folk Music Orlando

Which cities have you lived in? Favorite and least favorite?
For me…
-Austin: My favorite! Here now, here to stay. I love it b/c of the eclectic bars, culture, funky music scene, and beautiful landscaping. (I grew up and came back to Texas!
-Houston: loved it! Rather sprawled out, I’ll admit, but still a fun place.
-Memphis: it’s nice as long as you stay in the suburbs. Downtown has a cool blues and jazz scene, though. Overall, I liked it.
-Nashville: beautiful city, Vanderbilt University, thriving job market, good everyday folks. A great American city!
-Orlando: too many yankee transplants. Didn’t care for it.
-Louisville: My least favorite. Rude people, terrible drivers, I-65 is a crappy highway, it’s a very cliquish and exclusive city. They love to pride themselves on their Southern hospitality, though (lol).

Which Southern cities…?
Do you prefer or not prefer? Rank in order from most to least preferred.
PREFER:
1. Austin: Great city, beautiful capitol, beautiful women, nice folks; my hometown, and it rocks!
2. San Antonio: A lot like Austin, but w/o the big live music scene
3. Fort Worth: Where Southern hospitality meets western attitude
4. Atlanta: Truly a gem of the South, love the energy and cosmpolitan feel.
5 (tie). Houston and Dallas: Like ATL, they just need to clean themselves up a bit.
7. Nashville: Love the music scene and beautiful scenery
8. Memphis: Gotta love the blues and BBQ, close to Texas and Mississippi (two of my favorite states.)
9. Charlotte: A nice city.
NOT PREFER:
10. Orlando: Overrun with grumpy New Yuckers.
11 (tie): Louisville and Lexington, KY: the natives are grumpier than the yankee transplants. It ain’t “that friendly.” Glad I left that place.
13 (tie): Myrtle Beach and Miami: Can you say “overrated?”
I like all cities.
