folk music gigs in london
is there a folk/coffeehouse scene in london town, england? if so, where?

im the next bob dylan, i have been told this many times :) i want to start playing music in public places i.e coffee houses. open mic nights, trouble is im only 15 and therefore not alowed in pubs. so it has to be cofee houses. anyone know any good child friendly gigs where i can play and talk music?

why not start on the street. Go to local park and play for free. You will be amazed at how many people started playing on some street corner.
