Bob Dylan – Don’t Look Back $7.94 Both a classic documentary and a vital pop-cultural artifact, D.A. Pennebaker’s portrait of Bob Dylan captures the seminal singer-songwriter on the cusp of his transformation from folk prophet to rock trendsetter. Shot during Dylan’s 1965 British concert tour, Don’t Look Back employs an edgy vérité style that was, and is, a snug fit with the artist’s own consciously rough-hewn persona. Its handh… |

Slow, thoughtful, acoustic driven, country songs like these two…?
Good Morning Beautiful – Lonestar
It’s just that way – Alan Jackson
It’s harder to find something that hits the spot(with me) the way these two have and others I’ve heard over the years but don’t recall the names of… I’m not new to country music but just never delved into it like I’m doing now.
Anyhow, judging from those two songs, fire off your best shot at what you might think I like. I recently posted this same exact question but just realized it was asked in “uk yahoo answers”, lol. To my surprise, I’ve gotten a few dozen recommendations but I think I’d be amiss if I didn’t ask the folks from here…
Some good stuff, Keith Urban, Only you can love me this way…..Kenny Chesney, I’m Alive……Kenny Rogers, Buy Me a Rose……George Strait (anything by him)……and finally Blake Shelton, Don’t Make me, Nobody but me, and Austin.
Italian Folk Song – Stornelli – Alan Lomax, collector (Canzone Folclorica Italiana)
