Effects Pedals Kit
question about making effect pedals.
i was thinking about trying to learn to make my own effect pedals. i’ve found a site that u can buy kits from. does anyone know if there are any good books that i can buy that can walk me through and thoroughly explain things? the kits that u can buy online have instruction manuals but i’d like understand what i’m doing. i wanna know how it works so that in the future i can personalize my own effects. buying a kit would only be a good way to practice. and how much cheaper would it be to make ur own rather than buy one?

Jeep Wrangler rides real rough?
I had a lift kit installed and larger tires and I know that this adversely effects any vehicles smooth ride. However, I didn’t expect it to be ridiculous. Pulling out of a parking lot onto any major highway and bouncing across the ruts in the paved road just about causes my jeep to flip on it’s top (exaggeration). Some bumps are so outlandishly amplified by jeep that I quite literally can’t keep my feet on the gas pedal (and I am a big guy). I had my lift put in by Les Schwab, is this normal or is there better to be had? If I hit a man hole cover it feels like a deep rut!
If you own a leaf spring Jeep, you need to loosen the leaf spring bolts at the frame and shackles, front and rear. Jump up and down on the bumpers and re-torque the shackle bolts to 15lbs (use some loc-tite on the bolts) and the frame bolts to 60lbs. Generally when a shop lifts a Jeep, they do it on a rack. The tech will tighten everything with air tools while the suspension is at full droop. This causes a harsh ride.
If it is a coil spring Jeep, loosen the upper and lower control arm mounts and do the same as a leaf spring. This will help settle the suspension before it is tightened back up.
