Thanks anzil, but I know what harmonics are and that’s not what I meant, I bet you havent heard the tone I’m talkin about, like I mentioned it’s something you can hear on some of oasis’ songs, personally I haven’t heard it anywhere else but I’m pretty sure there should be plenty of bands that have used it as well
It’s called harmonics. you don’t need an effects pedal. strike a high E and cut it off, but not comepletely, enough to create an echo.

tell me all about keyboards (musical)?
i play guitar, flute and harmonica but i also want to start playing keyboards. so far all i know about them is they use amps and synthesizers, and i think a synthesizer kinda does for a keyboard what effects pedals do for guitars?can you tell me what else keyboards use? and can anyone recommend a good keyboard for under $200. also i really like the keyboards from Children of Bodom, Norther and other metal bands, what can i use to get their sound?
You should consider upgrading to computerized music. There’s so many musical related software out there today. Using midi is the way to go, you would need a midi controller such as keyboard.
