Effects pedals – Distortion – work for bass guitar ?
I have to play a song which requires distortion on the bass. I want to borrow a distortion pedal from a guitar player – do they work for guitar and bass guitar both ?
I don’t want to mess up his pedal, plus I want to make sure it will work.
It will work. You may have to tweak your EQ a bit to get the sound you want though. I use a Danelectro distortion as my primary distortion pedal (Fender bass, Peavey amp). Works fine.
