How do i setup a guitar effect pedal?
Do i need to buy extra cables? Also since i have a fendeer bullet amp do i needa buy fender effects or can i buy like marshall and stuff?
you would need extra cables…you have to plug the guitar into the pedal and plug the pedal into the amp…so just one extra cable to run from the guitar to the pedal…if you are using an amp then you have one cable already

Can I rewire an effects pedal that uses 9 volt batteries so that I can use it with a 9 volt adaptor?
Ok so I have a Crybaby wah pedal cb-95 and it is kind of old so it does not have an adaptor socket, what i want to do is remove the 9 volt battery clip and simply connect the adaptor to the battery cables by stripping both cables and tieing them together in their corresponding places. can this work? any better suggestions?
Check with Radio Shack. They used to have a power adapter that they called a battery Eliminator. Instead of a coaxial plug, it had the snap-on 9v connector, and of course the block would plug into the wall.
But, yes, that IS a 9v adapter that simply avoids you having to do connection work. If they don’t have the eliminators anymore, than a regular adapter will do the job, too. Just make sure of polarity when you rewire it.
