Custom Guitar Effects Parts
How would I connect my guitar to my laptop and record what I play? What all would I need? ?
I have an Acer Aspire 5315-2153 laptop. I also have a Roland Cube 60 amp and a Boss ME-20 effects pedal. I can’t describe my guitar, every part is custom and it is an extremely loud (the good kind of loud) guitar.
There are a whole bunch of boxes designed to do exactly what you want. Some, like the first link below, come with recording software but for others you simply download a free copy of Audacity. The second link is to a Behringer model that’s only $30. For that one you’ll need the Audacity software and you can’t plug the guitar cable in directly so you need an audio out feed from the mixer.
