Boss Pedals Power Supply
Why, when I plug a 9v power supply into my Boss OS-2 pedal, do I get a constant buzzing sound?
It doesn’t happen when I use a battery to power the pedal. I plug the power supply into the pedal and I immediately get a constant buzz from my amp. If I’m playing, I can’t really notice it, but if I’m not, it is very easily audible.
The power supply you are using could be defective or not designed to work with that pedal. The buzzing is a result of the power supply filter not cleaning up and smoothing out the AC from the wall socket. Your best bet is to go to a music store and get a new power supply designed for that pedal.

Is this a good pedal power supply?
I am thinking about getting the gator power supply http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Gator-GBus8US-Pedal-Board-Power-Supply?sku=546042 is this a good one to get? i have a boss pedal and am getting another but idk what one so is it a goos one to get
This is a good unit. Actually , I am planning to get one since I use 5 or 6 pedals at the studio.
At least, I won’t have to bring all my stupid power supplies.
Gator is very good and I have reviewed it for them.
