Boss Metalzone Or Digitech DeathMetal?
I currently have a digitech grunge, and i love it.
I currently play hardcore. The grunge helps me by giving me that high mid and treble sound for skater punkish hardcore (know the score, kids like us).
But now i’m looking for another distortion, one that can help me in the opposite direction.
Bassy chugga scoopy high gain distortion (like in car bombs or breakdowns sound), for more bassy HEAVIER hardcore (hoods,thick as blood,recon,furious styles, almost every other hardcore band)
I’m caught between the Boss MT-2, for it’s advanced eq settings (although it is more of a treble high mid pedal, it is versatile)
And the digitech death metal (more of a heavier pedal IMO, but boss vs digitech is really one sided in the guitar world?
Which would you suggest for a bassier scoopy heavier lows sound? MT-2 or Deathmetal.
I’M OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS!
get a boss ds-1 distortion. It is a well balanced distortion pedal and can go from metal to anything else you want. amazing pedal.
