Best Folk Guitar Songs

original guitar hero question.?
I just picked up the original guitar hero and the controller, it is my first GH game, on easy I completed career mode fairly easy, there were a few songs that held me up.
when I move up to medium I have a much, much harder time, I managed to get through the first 3 sets of songs, but once I get into the 4th set it whoops my butt bad.
my question is this, what is a good song to practice on medium dificulty to get used to using the blue button alot, and to how fast and how far you have to move your fingers, on songs like at lip you have to go from blue to green and then some inbetween and its rough, and if i can find out which song is best practice for medium mode that would go along way to help.
also about what is the average most people have to practice before moving up to the next set and or dificulty? Id like to think most folks had trouble with medium setting at first and im just not a nimrod
just keep practicing and youll get it, i suppose.
for me it was like this:
easy-1 day
medium-3 days
hard-2 months
expert-a week
its not that hard once you get the hang of it

Blue $5.17 Joni Mitchell would go on from this ’71 recording to make more popular, more ambitious, and more challenging albums, but she’s never made a better one. Working with minimal accompaniment (Stephen Stills and James Taylor are two of the four sidemen), the Canadian thrush summoned an involving song cycle of romance found and lost. Though Blue is an uncommonly intimate representation, it’s also astoni… |

Can anyone help me with band names?
Me and my best friend Amber have a 2 person band that is currently unnamed even though we’ve had the band for almost 2 years. We both sing, and play ukulele and guitar (and a couple of other instruments like harmonicas and drums that we play very rarely). We do acoustic/folk kind of music and write our own songs that are kind of weird. We need a name and we want something whimsical/fun/cute. Has anybody got any ideas?
thank you x)

Two Stroke – the old fashioned motor type, strings related, rhymes with folk.
Stoke – rhymes with folk, flames/amber/fire related.
Brown Out – that warm half light of a not proper black out.
Ukulele Lippy – wear bright lipstick and sing like birds.
Calypso
…And I like the above suggestion of Gem

O $12.99 Irish troubadour Damien Rice doesn’t so much reinvent the folk genre on this lush, impossibly mature debut album as push its boundaries in several compelling musical directions at once–all the more remarkable considering the album was largely self-produced and home-recorded. His songs revolve around familiar, bittersweet concerns of life, love, and their attendant frustrations, but delivered with… |
