Calling all musicians and vocalists………..?
Can any of you guys sing, play electric guitar, keyboard or bass?
I have a digital studio at home and am looking to make a soulful house record using original material. I can mix it down and add the beats and effects. All I need you guys to do is record whatever you do, convert it to MP3 and send to me via email, the least background noise the better. I’ll then add the finishing touches and post on myspace listing all who helped. I’m open to suggestions on the key it’s played in. What do YOU think? If it’s any good I’ll send it to a friend of mine who works in a distributors in London and can possibly get it printed to vinyl and sent out to lots of DJ’s. After I’ve had a few suggestions I’ll post up an email address you can send them to. So first things first someone needs to tell me the chord changes for the bass, keyboard and guitar licks. Then we’ll need original lyrics to match these chords. All around 130 bpm. Doesn’t matter if it’s not exact as I can change the tempo

How can I extract individual sound/instrument/effect from a .wav, mp3 or any kind of song file format?
Hi everybody..
Do any of you guys/gals know if there are any softwares available that can help me extract specific instruments/effects/sounds from a wave/mp3 or any kind of song file??
Like say for example the wave file is a complete song but I only wanna get the guitar or the bass or the drums part??
Any suggestions people? Shareware, freeware, trial.. It doesn’t matter.

Hi buddy
Firstly get to usd that mp3 or wav or say any audio for that matter is a single audio file. I mean that the codec doesnot store the sounds in seperate tracks like bass, guitar etc.
But Midi files can do that.
The only thing you can do is get a good audio editing tool like goldwave or audiocity or sound forge.
And use the Multi band equilizer to seperate the freqs. Say fro example: All bass will be around 20 Hz to 500 Hz at the max. Vocal s around 1Khz to 6 Khz …..
Accordingly you can increase or decrease the gain for a particular freq to get the desired output
