I’m a Male, 20 and Live at Home – Girls?

So…I really hate living “at home”

I’m 20 years old and attend community college, 2 more semesters and i’ll transfer to a UC school, mainly Berkeley.

I’m wondering what girls think about this?

More importantly, the appearance of where I live.

See, the whole family used to live in a nice house, spacious, etc. Where I would love to host parties and bring people over. I loved my room, the den had music on all the time and the pool sat nicely with the bbq grill.

But after my folks divorce I was forced to move in to a small apartment with my sister and mom and they keep this place completely messy all the time. I’ve felt so embarrassed over this that I haven’t had any girls over at this place in over a year.

Words are appreciated. I can add more details if needed.

Hun.. my BF is 22 and lives at home with his parents… JUST got his first job, never graduated high school… I still love him cause hes a good person.

I graduated high school, college, and I’ve been in my career for 3 years now… I moved out for a bit(tho right now i’m back in my parents house, but thats cause i was stupid with my money, and because both my parents are of failing health so i’m taking care of them too… but its mostly my stupidity…) But i was out on my own…

Its ok to be embarrassed about it.. in fact its a good thing casue it means you at least have higher aspirations. If a girl can’t admire the fact that you’re a good guy, you’re going to school and trying to make something of your life…. if she can’t admire what you want for your future not where you’re at NOW… shes not worth it. You’re only 20. You’re young… and alot better off than alot of people your age… Be proud that you want to do better… but don’t let the fact you haven’t yet let you down. its not easy in the world, i know. I tried and failed at moving out for now.

The kind of woman you want is the kind thats going to appreciate you for you. Not for where you live… So live your live, enjoy being young, and work on your future like you’re doing now. Cause eventually.. you’ll meet the right chick thats going to really appreciate the fact you wanna do something with your life. and thats the one chick that’ll count. :)
