guitar effect terms
How does he make it sound like that?

In the song Superstition by Stevie Wonder, the guitar has that twangy kinda sound if you know what i mean. Would you tell me how he makes that sound in terms of effects of like a chorus, or reverb etc.

umm, alot of guitars have that twangy sound, like a telecaster. or im pretty sure you can change the effects on your amp to make it sound more country twangy or more metal. amps can really affect the sound, but it depends on what kind of guitar you have

Will cracking my knuckles affect my guitar playing?

I do it loads, ever since I was little. I’ve never seen anything bad come of it, but is there any long term effects I should be worried about? Another thing is that sometimes it really hurts if I don’t do it =/
Thanks x

There is no scientific proof that cracking your knuckes makes you get arthritus or anything else.

From my source : “A study concluded that there was no increased preponderance of arthritis of the hand in either group; however, habitual knuckle-crackers were more likely to have hand swelling and 25% lower grip strength. Habitual knuckle-cracking was associated with manual labour, biting of the nails, smoking, and drinking alcohol in the study participants and their families. It was concluded that habitual knuckle-cracking results in functional hand impairment and therefore should be discouraged.[5]

Medical doctor Donald Unger regularly cracked the knuckles of his left hand for fifty years while not manipulating those of his right. No arthritis or other ailments formed in either hand, and he was awarded 2009′s Ig Nobel Prize in Medicine.[6]“
