Effects Pedal / Sound Processor Question?

My teacher has offered me his lightly used Effects Pedal or Sound Processor(Don’t Know Proper Name) for the Electric Guitar for a lower price than usualIy. it has around 90+ Settings to choose from. He has done a demo run for me and it sounds great.It can make the guitar sound really like an acoustic or a keyboard or those electro sounds in some songs.

Why not? Getting as many sounds and effects as possible will only help you expand your horizons and maybe start to learn different songs and genres. Plus you can just fool around with the settings.

how can I get more “meat” to my sound?

I’m the rhythm guitarist in a rock band, and we’re about to start recording some demos. I was wondering if anybody has any tips on how to get your sound from sounding like empty distortion to having a rich, meaty tone to it. I’m using an Epiphone Les Paul, an RP1000 multi-effects pedal, and a Roland Cube 20X amp, if that helps.

Go to your local grocer, and buy as much ground beef as you possibly can, then SMEAR IT ALL OVER YOUR EQUIPMENT.
