Guitar Pedal Explanations
BOSS PEDAL NOT WORKING NEED HELP!?
So i have the BD-2 blues driver and its the only pedal i have at the moment. I havent used for like a week or so and i wanted to use it a few minutes ago but it wasnt working.
When i turn on my amp when it is attached to the pedal, the light comes up but no sound comes out.
When i plug the guitar directly to the amp, with no pedal the sound works fine.
i checked the cables and tried different combinations to see if that was the problem but nothing seem to have worked. Its like the pedal is blocking the sound from getting to the amp.
any advice/tips or explanation would help thanks
This may be a dumb suggestion but is the battery flat? If you left a cable plugged into the input of the pedal it will have been turned on all the time and you’ll just have chewed up the battery,

What are Bass Guitar pedals?
Well I guess I know what the main idea is, but can someone give me a brief explanation of what they do and different kinds of it.

Basically, pedals come in two kinds – effects pedals, which alter your signal to give you a new effect, and other pedals usually change something on your amp (so you don’t have to bend down and fiddle with it).
You can get all sorts of different effects, though most bass players don’t use a lot. There’s pedals for distortion, chorus, flangers, reverb, etc. …some amps have effects built in, but again, with a pedal you don’t have to stop playing and change your settings.
Other pedals can be used to adjust your volume, tone, and EQ settings.
