Folk Music Festivals 2008

A good forum to recruit recycling volunteers for a UK music festival?
We need volunteers to help at the 2008 cambridge rock festival with the “Green Team” recycling project. What forum or means of finding volunteers would you suggest.
This team would be involved in separating and recycling cans, bottles, in card, paper, plastics, we will do about 4 hours each day then go and watch the bands.
If you are serious about recycling and keeping landfill to a mimimum, give us a few hours of your time in July (17th-21st). The team is made
up of great folks who want to make a difference (and enjoy themselves
to boot). www.cambridgerockfestival.co.uk
thanks
Dave
Perhaps a post on http://www.sustainablebusiness.com/ may find you some volunteers? Under the job listings there is an option for volunteers. Good luck!

A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols $10.83 This disc could be more succinctly titled Christmas for Anglophiles. Few sounds are more British than the boy soprano-dominated Choir of King’s College in Cambridge. And the group is heard–in some sections recorded live–in an actual Christmastide service amid the generous reverberation of a cathedral acoustic with little more than a tasteful though austere organ accompaniment. The repertoire isn… |
